With over 1000 connecting rods in stock from various medium speed engines, A&D Sales has one of the largest stockholdings worldwide. We offer fully refurbished connecting rods that have been put through our stringent quality control system. Each rod is individually checked and refurbished by our OEM trained engineers, full process sheets are despatched with each component showing the various procedures and testing, signed off by the individual engineer.

Due to our extensive stockholding we can usually offer an exchange service ensuring minimum delay. Classification can be obtained for any marine customer to the society of their choice (bv, Lloyds, DNV, Rina etc). We are also able to supply new connecting rods in most instances.

Case Study

During a dry docking an italian shipowner reported connecting rods that were both cracked and beyond geometrical tolerance. A quick response was needed, as each day that passed cost the customer several thousands of pounds in dry dock. A&D were able to offer reconditioned exchange connecting rods immediately from stock; no other company had been able to offer this unique service which saved the customer weeks of idle waiting time and costs.
